When signing up with Altify, you'll need to verify your account before you can start investing. We've made this process simple and straightforward.
Here’s how to verify your account on the Altify app.
- Answer a few questions about your intended use of your Altify account, including your projected investment amounts, employment status, investing experience, and source of funds.
- Have a valid ID ready—this can be an ID card, passport, driver’s licence, or identity document. It must include your full legal name, date of birth, and a clear photo. Please note that we only accept real-time photos of the document, not photocopies or screenshots. Follow the on-screen instructions to position your document for a clear photo.
- You'll then take a selfie to verify your identity against the document. Make sure your face is clearly visible to ensure the verification process is accurate and secure.
Your identity is typically verified within a few hours, but in rare cases, it may take up to two days.

You can fund your Altify account via bank deposit or crypto deposit. We’ll automatically allocate your funds to your Altify account as soon as they are received.
You'll receive an email confirmation as soon as your funds have been received and allocated to your account.
Bank deposits usually reflect within a few minutes up to three days. This depends on bank payment processing times.
Crypto deposits usually reflect within a few minutes up to an hour, depending on blockchain processing times as well as the crypto platform or wallet you use.

Once your personal information has been submitted for verification, you cannot update these details manually.
If you need to change your phone number, email address, reset two-factor authentication, or update any other personal information, please contact our Support Team via email at support@altify.app, use our on-site web messenger, or reach out through the ‘Profile’ section of the mobile app.
Yes, but a parent or legal guardian must open the account on behalf of anyone under 18 years old.
To open a minor’s account, the parent or guardian must have a verified Altify account. If they don't have one, they can sign up via the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
If you're interested in setting up an account for a minor, please contact our Support Team via email at support@altify.app, through our on-site web messenger, or via the 'Profile' section in the mobile app. We’ll guide you through the process.
Once the account is verified, we’ll send a welcome email confirming it's ready to use.
You can fund your Altify account via bank deposit or crypto deposit.
Bank Deposit Steps
1. Log in to your Altify account.
2. On the Portfolio screen, tap the ‘Deposit’ button.
3. Select ‘Deposit currency’ and choose “Bank Transfer.”
IMPORTANT: Please note that you can only deposit in the fiat currency assigned to your account. For example, if your account is in USD, you can only deposit in USD.
4. Enter or select the amount you wish to deposit, then click continue.
5. Our bank details and your unique payment reference will be displayed. You will also receive an email with these details. Open your banking app and make the transfer, ensuring you use the correct payment reference.
6. Once received, the deposit will be credited to your Altify account, and we will notify you via email.
Crypto Deposit Steps
1. Log in to your Altify account.
2. On the Portfolio screen, tap the ‘Deposit’ button.
3. Select ‘Deposit cryptocurrency’ and choose the cryptocurrency you wish to deposit.
4. Read and acknowledge the risk disclaimer, then tap “I understand” to continue.
5. Your unique crypto wallet deposit address will be displayed.
6. Open your crypto wallet or exchange app and transfer funds by scanning the QR code or copying the wallet address.
7. Once received, the crypto deposit will be credited to your Altify account, and we will notify you via email.
IMPORTANT: Ensure you use the correct blockchain as indicated on the Altify crypto deposit page to avoid losing your funds.

You can withdraw funds via bank or cryptocurrency transfer.
Bank Withdrawal Steps
1. Log in to your Altify account.
2. On the Portfolio screen, tap the ‘Withdraw’ button.
3. Select the currency you wish to withdraw.
4. Enter the withdrawal amount and tap ‘Continue’.
5. Verify your bank details or update them by tapping ‘Edit bank details’. Review everything, then click ‘Next’.
6. Enter the OTP sent to your email and/or mobile number to confirm the withdrawal.
7. Once processed, you'll receive an email confirming the completion of your withdrawal.
Crypto Withdrawal Steps
1. Log in to your Altify account.
2. On the Portfolio screen, tap the ‘Withdraw’ button.
3. Select the cryptocurrency you wish to withdraw.
4. Add or edit your crypto wallet address, read the risk disclosure, and tap ‘Yes, I acknowledge’.
IMPORTANT: Ensure the wallet address is correct, as Altify is not responsible for coins sent to the wrong address.
5. Enter the withdrawal amount and tap ‘Continue’.
6. Enter the OTP sent to your email and/or mobile number to confirm the withdrawal.
7. Once processed, you'll receive an email confirming the completion of your withdrawal.
For your security, crypto withdrawals are processed from our cold storage wallets three times daily, seven days a week.
You can download the Altify mobile app from Google Play or the App Store.
However, in some jurisdictions, our app may not be available due to local app store restrictions applied to regulated financial service providers such as ourselves. If you're unable to find our app in your region, you can still sign up for an account through our website, subject to our Terms of Service.

To open a corporate account, you will need to provide the following details:
- A document confirming the person opening the account is authorised to act on behalf of the company.
- A brief description of the company’s activities and the purpose for opening the account.
- Company registration documents (e.g. Certificate of Incorporation).
A document outlining the company’s ownership and control structure (e.g. Organogram, Shareholder Register, or Capitalisation Table). - If applicable, the company's Shareholders Agreement.
Proof of the company's bank account (e.g. a bank statement). - An indication and proof of the source of funds.
- Proof of the company’s registered address (not older than 3 months).
- ID documents and proof of address (not older than 3 months) for every shareholder owning more than 10% of the company. If another entity owns more than 10%, we will also need information on the ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs) who are natural persons.
- If the company provides financial services to third parties, a copy of the company's anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) compliance programme will be required.

Yes, we are regulated across multiple jurisdictions.
We offer a cost-effective fee structure, with fees varying based on your Altify Rewards Level. You can get up to 50% off on your fees when you reach the VIP Rewards level together with other benefits.
We charge no sign up fees, monthly account subscription fees, or performance fees.

Once you've created and verified your Altify account, you can start referring friends. Here's how:
- Log in to your account.
- Go to the Rewards section and copy your unique referral link.
- Share the link with your friend and ask them to sign up using it, and then verify their account.
- Once they invest at least $25, R500, £25, €25, or the equivalent currency amount in a single product, you’ll both receive rewards shown in your Altify accounts.
Yes, we can provide you with an account statement. This statement includes your transaction history and year-end balance for each asset, which you or your tax advisor can use to calculate any tax owed.
You can request an account statement by reaching out to our Support Team via email at support@altify.app, or send a message using our on-site web messenger or through the ‘Profile’ section on our mobile app.
Please note that we do not provide official tax reports as we operate across multiple jurisdictions, each with its own tax reporting requirements.
To view your transaction history on the Altify web platform:
- Log in to your Altify account.
- Select 'Transactions' from the left sidebar.
- You'll find a detailed list of your transactions, with filters for Pending, Completed, Deposits, Withdrawals, Savings, and Rewards.
Note: This feature is not yet available in our mobile app, but we're working on it and will release it soon.
