Can I use someone else’s bank account to make a deposit into my account?

Revix explicitly prohibits 3rd party EFT payments from someone else's bank account or crypto wallet. All deposits must be made from a bank account in the name of the Revix account owner or from a wallet that only the Revix account holder controls.

What do I do if I added the incorrect reference number for my deposit?

If the incorrect deposit reference was used, we will need to wait for the funds to clear into our bank account, however, you can reach out to support once you realise the error and provide us with the original PDF proof of payment for us to trace your deposit.

What do I do if my deposit isn't reflecting in my portfolio?

Depending on the type of transfer you made, regular payments can take some time to reflect due to interbank transfer delays, which we do not have any control over.

If an immediate payment was selected it will reflect usually within 2 hours or so, however, if not, they can reach out to support, provide us with the original PDF proof of payment, and we can check this with our finance team.

How do I deposit money to my Revix account?

What currencies do you currently accept on the platform?

We currently accept South African Rands (ZAR), US Dollars (USD), Bitcoin, Tether, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin and USD Coin.

How long does it take for a deposit to reflect?

Deposit times vary based on what you are depositing. Bank deposits can take 2-5 days depending on which bank you are sending from as well as the location of the bank. Crypto deposits usually reflect within an hour, but can take longer. If you have made a deposit that is not reflecting after 5 days for a bank deposit, or 6 hours for a crypto deposit, please feel free to reach out to our support team.

What is a valid proof of payment document?

A valid proof of payment (PoP) should reflect:

  • Official bank-issued proof of payment (PoP)
  • Your full legal name and surname as it appears in your Revix account
  • The amount you are depositing in South African Rands (ZAR)
  • Your unique Revix deposit reference number

We do not accept receipts, email screenshots, written letters or receipts, or mobile screenshots unless a screenshot of the document meets the requirements described above.
